Monday, April 3, at Batavia Haven Lelystad is the start of the River Cruise season. We will celebrate this from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. during a festive gathering aboard the three-masted Stedemaeght. Since another busy season is coming up and the weather is nice, we have already started preparing the harbor for the 2023 season! The mooring posts on the outside wall were reinforced this winter with new bollards and so they need to be repainted, we are doing this with this weather from the harbor service boat. Because more and more cruise ships come to the Batavia Haven Lelystad and they need more and more power and it is forbidden to run a generator. We have had 2 extra powerlock cabinets (power boxes) installed so that all cruise ships can be neatly connected to shore power. Bring on the season!💪
Now to tell if/how the different scaffolds are numbered. Good for a more effective relief effort.
